3C are all working on different presentations, reflecting on our learning at our School in Brisbane. One of my students made this Glog to share with you:
We will be adding some more reflections soon. Some children are working on videos and animations!
A bit about a typical school day in Brisbane:
Our day at school starts at 8.40am. We usually begin with sacred time in the morning, as we are a Catholic school.
Each day we will learn some literacy, numeracy and work on our inquiry unit - which might be based on science, SOSE, art, technology..... We have sport twice a week, drama and music. We use the computers at much as possible. We have 3 computers in our classroom and a digital projector. We try to go to the Library as much as we can as there is a bank of 20 laptops in there!
Our day finishes at 3.00pm. Lots of us are members of clubs outside school.
We won't learn another language, until we are in grade 6. At our school the language we learn will be Japanese.
Our school year begins at the end of January and ends in Decemeber. We are on holidays at the moment and return back to school on the 6th October for the last term of this year.

Hi Melissa and 3C,
What does SOSE mean? We will be able to learn either French or Spanish when we get into 7th grade. It is interesting that you are ending your third term and we are only starting our first. How old are the students in your class?

Hi 3C,
What grade are the students in your class in? We are in fifth grade and most of us are 9 or 10 years old. What do you do in your sport class? We liked your Glog!
