Hello "A Day at Schoolers",
Here are a couple of photos of the students in the Mystic Middle School grade 5/6 classroom in Stonington, Connecticut.
I am also providing you a list of the classes our students have in a typical school day.
Every day the students have: math, language arts, science and social studies.
Every other day the students have physical education and band or Chorus.
Every 4 days the students have: art, music, health, and foreign language in 6th grade and world cultures in 5th.
Our day starts at 8:00 and ends at 2:40. The kids have a many after school clubs and extra-curricular activities that they can get involved in. I will save that for another blog. Everyone takes a bust to and from school.
The languages offered here are: Spanish, French, and Mandarin. This is the first year that Mandarin has been offered in this school.
Next week I plan on including a video link that the students will help produce.

Thanks for sharing Greg.
It is so interesting comparing our different school timetables.
I have a student whose family comes from China in my 4B Grade Normal Time.
With Friendship,
Andrea
