Hello Ryan!

Congratulations for your research and for all the interesting news you have found about Italy.
Yes, Italy is a peninsula and remember that the word ‘Italia’ comes form an ancient word ITALOI-VITELOI meaning ‘calves’, babies of the cow.

I particularly like the South of Italy and Sicily because my mother Eleonora and my grandmother Maria were born in this island, in the province of Messina.

I also like Campania region where my grandfather Andrea and my father Giuseppe were born. I have spent many beautiful summers in these two regions with my family.

Umbria, where I live now, is a fantastic region! Look at the photos of the regions and enjoy!

I also visited Rome several times because I have relatives who live there.

Thanks for everything and if you have time just post how to say/ask ‘Hello!’, “How are you?’, ‘Fine, thanks!’ in Taiwanese.
