Dear Ling, Dear Colleagues and Dear Students of “Mingde” Elementary School, Taipei.
We are so happy that our friendship and cooperation is continuing.
Thank you for inviting us to join and collaborate with you to the ‘A Day At My School’ blog project.
Various school communities are having the pleasure and the honour to interact with you, to know you and benefit from your support. Last year Chiara, Giorgia, Alfredo, Giulia, Martina, Michela, Maicol and Alessandro of Preggio Mountain Single Multigrades Primary School took part in your ‘Dragons’ Legends’ blog project. It was a precious opportunity for us to learn about a blog, to remember, to experience and learn about the Dragon and His importance for your Community and, I think, for the whole Planet; Dragons as keepers of Teachings and ancient Wisdom fundamental for all of us.
Also the pupils of “Anna Frank” Verna Banchetti Primay School were kindly invited to share and publish their beautiful story about Dragons in the blog!
This year a new school belonging to the Northern Tiber Valley School District n. 1 – “San Filippo” Primary School of Città di Castello – Grades Three A and Three B - is enjoying the ‘A Day At My School’ blog experience.
We are appreciating Ling’s exquisite kindness who is actively involving us and guiding us, letting us understand the time line, the meaning and the value of this new idea.
Many colleagues of mine, our School Director, Prof. Massimo Belardinelli and the children’s parents are having the possibility to explore the blog, read and write posts; everyone of us can reflect about the creative and innovative use of the ICT at school.
We are grateful to all the schools from abroad that are collaborating; it is an extremely various, interesting and rich school network!
We are especially grateful to Daphne, Teresa, Brian, Gary Chou, Gary Lu and Ryan for their energy, their joy, their commitment and the competence in the English language there are sharing with us.
Your presentations about your Day at school are so really well done both from a communicative and from a technical point of view! We are happy to learn from them; they show evidence of such a good level of skills!
Thank you so much for being interested in the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue 2008 and in our school activities devoted to the European peaceful citizenship, to Brotherhood and Peace education. We are convinced that definitive Peace on Earth needs a Language based of Curiosity, Kindness, Innocence, Equality, Mutual Interest and Admiration, Love for every Living Creature. We are so glad to continue and to foster our dialogue with peaceful Communities of the World!
Now that schools activities approach to the summer break, it will be a pleasure to relax and think about further works and practices to be shared from September on.
