To Ryan and Brian

Hello Ryan and Hello Brian!

Good morning; In Italian we say Buon giorno!

Eleonora's mother is Italian and Eleonora's father is from the Usa.

She has an uncle and a little cousin in Taiwan. Eleonora told me that they could be soon in Italy visiting her. If possible we will invite them to our school for a lesson about Taiwan.

Eleonora loves your country. Her father travels for his work and he often visits your Taiwan!

Have you ever visited Europe or Italy?

Thank you from Città di Castello, Umbria, Italy.

Ciao!!

I have been to France, but I was two years old by the time.
There are some vacation sites on the islands near Taiwan, like Penghu. http://tour.penghu.gov.tw/English/index.asp
If you like to know more about Taiwan, just tell us.

I think it's good to introduce Taiwan in your class because I hope more people know about Taiwan.

Hello Brian! Hello Ryan!
Thanks for your messages on the blog.

France is a very beautiful country. There are so may beautiful places to visit. I visited Nice (twice) and Strasbourg. I also would like to visit the area near the Atlantic Ocean and hear the sea wind blow. I studied French at the University of Florence, I like this language ("Salut! Comment ça va? / Hello! How are you?").

I had a tour on the site you suggested: fascinating island!

Can you tell me what the words: TAIWAN - TAIPEI AND PENGHU MEAN exactly?

Wonderful pieace of news.
Eleonora's aunt, Teresa Chan, arrived some days ago from Taiwan. She has given a box of beautiful Taiwanese cups as a gift for the students of grades Four and Three. Each student will receive a Taiwanese cup on the day of the last parents' meeting, 20 June. :-)

Bye Brian, bye Ryan.!!Have a nice day!!

Thank you for your question, Tai (臺)
means terrace, and wan(灣) means a bay or a gulf, pei(北) means north, so Taipei means the north of the terrace. I'm not sure what Penghu means, sorry.

I visited Penghu once, and all I ate was seafood, I got seasick for all that rocking boats, but the island was pretty beautiful.
