I'm Daphne.
Thank's for replying my question.
Your school is different from ours,in your reply, you say your school time is from 8:30~4:30,I have some questions to ask you.
Our every class time is 40 mins. And our break time is 5~15 mins.Boys love to play balls, and girls like drawing .How about your students? what are they're favorite activity?
Dear Andrea!
I'm Daphne.
I want to ask you another question.
I had learn "Pompeii Town" in our class, and it's in Italy! I love ancient culture! And Pompeii is my favorite,I really want to visit it.
Have you been to Pompeii? Can you give me some imformation?
Ciao!!!*-*
Dear Daphne,
Thank you so much for your response on the blog and for the details about your school timetable.
At "San Filippo", classes usually last an hour except the third class that last from 11.00 to 11.30 because of the recess time: 10.30 - 11.00. So the morning break lasts half an hour. We have also another break after lunch (12.40 - about 13.40) from 13.40 to 14.30.
During the breaks, boys like playing board games or they play with their own toys; girls like drawing as you do or they talk together and prepare things for school. When the weather is beautiful we visit the park after lunch; we can play football or use the facilities that are in the park.
Thanks for your question about Pompei, which is in the South of Italy (Campania Region), my father Giuseppe was born in that same region.
I have never visited Pompei;it is linked to the Romans. I don't know why but they wanted to conquer the lands and people around them. At that time, Earth, Waters, Air and Fire around Pompei suffered; the volcano erupted. It is a sad event.
In these recent years I have been trying to focus my attention on peace and brotherhood issues. So, dear Daphne, I'm trying to imagine, and some teachers are already doing that, if it is possible to re-consider history from a peaceful point of view. Is it possible to write the history of the people who practised and served non violence, love and service for other people, communities, planet Earth?.
I have to precise that this is my own research and I am very glad that you are asking more details about Pompei.
