Schools Rules at PRES
They are finally ready for posting. After several snow days and many class periods interrupted our School Rules Videos are finally ready! Students in my fifth grade technology classes used a wiki to collaborate and write their scripts. Then they recorded their videos using a flip cam. Finally they used iMovie to create their movie.
PRES has three main school rules, they are Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe. Students were assigned one of the rules and created a video which showed an example of a rule in our school, they also showed a counter-example of each rule as well. It's up to you to decide which is the right and wrong way for each video!

Lunch at "San Filippo" Primary School
Hello Dear Friends!
Thank you so much for sharing your school lunch with us
At our School we have lunch five days a week from 12.40 to 1.20 pm, then students have a recess time to rest or doing particular Laboratory Activities from 1.30 to 2.30 pm.
Various cookers and auxiliary personnel prepare and serve meals that come from an external cuisine. The quality of the food is very good; it varies several times; we have 25 different kinds of menus, a cycle of 5 menus X 5 weeks.
The school menus are decided by an expert of the Municipality and Local Office.
Our lunch at school is very healthy!
Usually we eat pasta, rice, soupes, various kinds of meat and fish, many kinds of vegetables and fruit, yogurts. We drink water.
A special THANKS to the Muslim students and Parents: various times in the year a wonderful Cous Cous is prepared and served to the teachers.

In the pictures, another very special moment.
Last year in Spring we welcomed a Tibetan Representative, Ven. Geshe Lobsang Sherab and Stefania from Rome. We spent the school morning together in a Circle of Brotherhood and Peace.
Then we had lunch together at our Canteen.

Lunch In Our School
Hello from Georgia, U.S.A. Yesterday at our school,our lunch was a Thanksgiving dinner type lunch. It included turkey, stuffing, sweet potato mush, frosted pie with raisens, and milk. Thanksgiving is a holiday celebrated to give thanks for what we have. It started with the indians and the pilgrams hundreds of years ago.
We usually go to lunch at 11:45, after centers, we get about half hour to eat, and we get back to class at about 12:20 unless we go to recess. Some of our favorite lunches are grilled cheese, brunch for lunch, and pizza.

Recess/Outdoor Activities in Maryland
What is more fun than going outside? We enjoy spending time outside every day for Recess. Recess is right after lunch and give us time to stretch our legs after all the hard work we have been doing. Check out more information in the PowerPoints below.

Our school lunch(Mingde, Taiwan)
Hi everyone:
We made a video about our school lunch together.
But before watching the video, here is some further explaination about it.
1. Our background music is Taiwanese (one of our dialects)
2. Our lunch is delivered from outside kitchen but.. it is NOT tasty (Many people said that!).
3. Not every school lunch in Taiwan is BAD. Some lunch in other schools is still good.
4. Everyone has different opinions about school lunch so some people said it’s yummy(or OK) and some said it’s horrible.

Halloween and Lunch at Mystic Middle
Good Afternoon,
Here are some pictures I took today and yesterday at school.
In some of the pictures, some of the students and I are dressed up in our Halloween costumes.
We celebrate Halloween every October 31. Tonight the students will go from house to house collecting candy. Others will go to costume parties.
Other images are of my students getting their lunches in the cafeteria. Today we are having pizza.
Finally, the picture taken outside was at a corn maze. this is where a farmer will carve out a maze within a corn field for people to find their way through.
